FAQs

Location: Lakeview Camp & Retreat Center • Waxahachie, TX

Middle School: February 6–8, 2026

High School: February 13–15, 2026

Check-in and pickup times are the same for both middle school and high school camps.

Check-In: Friday, 4:00–5:30 pm, at the Gateway campus you registered with.

Pickup: Sunday, 2–3 pm, at the Gateway campus you registered with.

We’ll be posting pictures, videos, and various information on our social media channels throughout camp. For updates, follow Gateway Youth on Instagram @GatewayYouthh.

To provide a distraction-free environment that helps students fully engage in the weekend getaway, all phones will be collected at check-in or during the bus ride to camp and returned to students on the bus ride home. If you need to contact your student in the event of an emergency, call 817.552.3600 and the emergency service will get in touch with a Gateway staff member at the camp.

You’re welcome to register with any one of the above campuses. The campus you register your student with will be the campus your student will ride the bus with and room with.

There will not be an information meeting for parents. We will be releasing a parent packet with helpful information coming soon. Please review the information on this page and reach out to your campus contact with any further questions you may have.

Yes. The required waivers for camp are available when you register your student online.

Students will be arranged in cabins according to campus and gender. There will be one leader for every 10 students in each cabin.

Students will participate in small groups, informative and encouraging breakout sessions, incredible worship services, and have a chance to grow in their relationships with current friends as well as make new friends. Students will also engage in recreational activities through Tribes, a team competition, on Saturday.

Registration includes transportation, lodging, meals, and activity costs for the duration of the weekend. Students are welcome to bring snacks.

Yes. Please fill out our Financial Aid Form to begin the financial aid request process.

All registration is nonrefundable. However, you may transfer your registration to another student from the same campus who is the same gender and in the same age range of the student who is no longer able to attend.
